Olivia is a summer intern and recently joined Roberto's lab. Currently a rising junior at Lick-Wilmerding High School, Olivia's passion for research was ignited by her exposure to captivating lab science courses. Eager to expand her scientific horizons, she hopes to acquire fundamental wet lab techniques this summer. She also aspires to deepen her comprehension of the biological underpinnings that underscore the lab's projects through examination of seminal research papers. Of particular interest to Olivia is the realm of engineering ILCs and the consequential network of immune responses. Beyond the lab, she serves on her school's student council and is a dedicated cross country and track runner. Olivia also enjoys competing on a FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) robotics team.
