Anusha Subramanian

Originally from Mumbai, India, Anusha Subramanian graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology (Genetics) and a minor in Data Science. Over the course of her research tenure, she has partaken in research spanning many interdisciplinary fields including applied genetics, computational biology, bacterial pathogenesis and immunology and worked with diverse model organisms such as yeast, mice and Listeria monocytogenes. She is interested in using computational tools to find scientific solutions in areas such as differential gene expression, biomarker identifications, cancer immunology and drug development. Outside of lab, she enjoys writing, art and exploring San Francisco and is often described by her lab mates as a committed foodie.
